Incredible India

I'm itching to get back on the road! The liberating feeling that comes with being unemployed for months. To do what we want, when we want. Having everything I need on my back in one bag. Going to sleep in a different city every night. Making each day a new horizon.

Our next big adventure is India & Nepal. Everyone asks, "Why India?" Watch this advert and then tell me, "Why wouldn't we?!"

Incredible India

This commercial is run non-stop on our TV & I can't shake the catchy slogan, "Indiiiia Incredible Indiiia". When we sat down to decide where we would go after Korea there wasn't much discussion needed. India it was. The outrageous culture, mountains in the North, breath-taking beaches in the South, exquisite cuisine, chaotic cities, desert treks, camel rides, (possibly) capturing a rare glimpse of a wild tiger in National Parks &, very importantly, an affordable lifestyle. Not to mention the rigorous trek we're planning to do up to Everest Base Camp right before we finish our trip in Nepal!

"It should not be denied... that being footloose has always exhilarated us. It is associated in our minds with escape from history and oppression and law and irksome obligations, with absolute freedom, and the road has always led West." -Wallace Stegner-

...or maybe the road bends a bit further to the East for us...
